ABOUT ME - Jobro Fotography

Hi, I'm Johan and I live in The Hague.

I was born in 1962, I am married and work in IT.

The first time I came into contact with the medium of photography was in 2004. I bought my first digital reflex and started attending various workshops with other photographers.

I see photography as a pleasant leisure activity, it relaxes me and I can express myself artistically. My main focus is photographing women.

I enjoy editing as much as I enjoy taking the photos. The end result is what counts for me.

I take the photos with a Canon digital camera (DSLR) in combination with Canon glassware.

The light in the studio comes from Hensel, and in small spaces I use Canon Speedlights in combination with Godox flash and natural light.

Whether you are thin, fat, small, large, yellow or green is quite unimportant to me. The most important thing is the appearance, the spontaneity, the naturalness, and the casualness of you, the model.

We discuss in advance what type of photos we are going to take.

It's all about teamwork. During a shoot there has to be some kind of chemistry. I use my feelings and intuition as a guide while photographing and I work solely on the basis of trust and respect. A saying I always use is: everything is possible, but nothing is mandatory!

We both have to be happy with the result.
